Dr Bheki Alex Xulu

		Dr Xulu’s research focuses mainly on the chemistry of biologically relevant oxidants (HOCl, HOBr, HOSCN) and antioxidant (SCN-, glutathione, resveratrol) with the purpose of gaining insight into their kinetics and mechanisms. He also conducts collaborative studies on EPR studies of transition metal complexes and holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. Dr Xulu has over 6 years of industry experience (Sasol) and over 9 years experience in teaching Chemistry both locally and abroad.
