Dr Shozi has a strong education and professional background. He is an experienced lecturer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. He is killed in leadership skills, public engagement, lecturing and writing of research proposals.
Dr Shozi is the Director of the Applied Chemistry programme at UKZN. He specialises in Catalysis and Organometallic chemistry. He is also the recipient of grants from the South African National Research Foundation, Royal Society of Chemistry and is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar 2018/2019 at University of California Davis.
