Dr Thomas Moyo

Dr Moyo is a previous recipient of the Third World Academy of Sciences and Matsumae International Foundation fellowships. He is an active researcher in the area of magnetic properties of novel nano-materials and nano-composites of mixed ferrites using Mössbauer spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometers.

Recent work also includes studies of complexes of milled tetracycline with nanoferrites for possible anti-biotic enhancement and use of magnetic nanoparticles in the modification of voltammetric electrodes for electrochemical testing.
